About project

Born from the curves of Arabic calligraphy and shaped through sculptural form, the figure exists between memory and future, as if language itself transformed into a living presence. Every fold, seam, and layered movement echoes the rhythm of handwritten letters once carved into walls, written in poems, and passed through generations of women whose stories were never fully spoken, only felt.

Project overview

The garment becomes more than fashion; it becomes armor, archive, and identity. Wrapped around the body like flowing script, the structure protects while revealing quiet strength beneath it. The dark materiality gives the figure a timeless presence, neither ancient nor futuristic, but suspended somewhere in between. A guardian of culture. A keeper of untold narratives.

Behind her, the moon-like circle acts as both halo and witness, illuminating the silhouette as though she is emerging from history itself. The surrounding calligraphic textures fade into the background like forgotten voices, allowing the woman to become the final letter of the composition: bold, silent, and unforgettable.

What I did

This concept reimagines Arabic typography not as something read, but as something embodied, turning culture, emotion, and femininity into a sculptural visual language that feels poetic, cinematic, and deeply human.
